²¹ Shem also had sons. Shem was Japheth's older brother. All the sons of Eber are descendants of Shem. ²² These are the sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram. ²³ These are the sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech.
